When it came to reading “for fun,” I used to read nothing but fiction. I thought that biographies, autobiographies and nonfiction in general would just be factual, bland, and boring. Now, I LOVE reading nonfiction books, particularly accounts of mental illness!
While most of the books I have read focus on mood disorders (i.e. memoirs), I have also looked into books targeted towards mental health professionals, those in academia, and self-help books. Below are some of the books I have read within the past 3 years… I know… it is a lot!
Have you read any of these? Do you have any suggestions? Let me know!
