The Struggle with ADHD

 

 

I recently came across an elementary school student who is really struggling with school.

 

He happens to have ADHD.

 

 

This got me to wondering… how much of the behavior is due to his condition?

His teachers have commented on his distractability in class. Is this the cause of his inability to test well?

 

Is medication not enough?

Should someone i.e. a school psychologist get involved to help?

What resources are available to students in his position?
